Trade Enamelling with Urquhart Perry Fernando Ltd.

Please contact Edward Perry - edward@upfltd.com to register interest

“We have won a number of awards in the last couple of years, much of which I would attribute to our ability to engrave, guilloche and enamel to the highest standard. The volume of work we have on the horizon means we are going to quickly swamp our current team so we are looking to expand via freelance positions.

Obviously we would be looking for those with the skills to carry these standards on but recognise that not everyone starts as award winners! We are more than willing to help folks who are serious about enamelling improve their skills.

By helping them improve we help to widen the number of skilled enamellers out in the industry. Also, for those looking to turn professional, it can be very daunting. By providing regular and meaningful work I hope that we would be able to help those who would like to earn their money through enamelling have that opportunity.”

Things to note:

  • We are UK based (West Sussex, Aberdeenshire and Bristol), no in-house enamellers.

  • Production regularly includes medals, fountain pens/writing instruments, watches and folding knives.

  • No time limit to contact as there will be multiple projects over the coming months and years.

  • We work mainly in cloisonné/champlevé over guilloche on sterling silver and 18k gold, very little demand for piqué-a-jour recently but we always remain open!

  • Currently operating solely on word of mouth so no website or social media but  happy to provide images to interested individuals with a level of confidentiality.
