Côme Roumegoux

My practice fuses the raw energy of graffiti with the precision and luminosity of copper enamelling, a traditional craft rarely encountered in contemporary urban art. Through this unique material dialogue, I explore themes of chaos, control, and transformation, creating richly textured, vibrant surfaces that reflect both tension and resilience.

Rooted in my personal experiences within the underground graffiti scene, my work is shaped by a journey of recovery and reinvention. The act of creating has become a meditative process, a way to confront and reinterpret the past, transforming it into something enduring and luminous.

I graduated from the Fine Art and Contemporary Practice program at the Bristol School of Art and am currently represented by Clifton Fine Art. My work has been exhibited at the Affordable Art Fairs in London, and upcoming shows include Modern Know How in Limoges, Handmade Chelsea, and the Manchester Art Fair.

By bridging street culture with fine craftsmanship, my aim is to challenge traditional perceptions of contemporary art and provoke an emotional response, one that invites reflection on both material and meaning.
