Bristol

Côme Roumegoux is a multidisciplinary artist whose work fuses the raw, instinctive energy of graffiti with the meticulous craftsmanship of copper enamelling, a centuries-old technique rarely seen in contemporary urban art. Through this unexpected pairing, he creates richly textured, luminous surfaces that explore tensions between chaos and control, destruction and renewal.

Rooted in his formative years within the underground graffiti scene, Côme’s practice is deeply personal and transformative. His work reflects lived experiences of compulsion, rebellion, and recovery, shaped by years of addiction and a pivotal turning point in 2021, when he entered rehab. Enamelling has since become a meditative and redemptive process: a way of forging new meaning from fire, metal, and colour.

A graduate of the Fine Art and Contemporary Practice program at the Bristol School of Art, Côme is currently represented by Clifton Fine Art. He has exhibited at the Affordable Art Fairs in London, with upcoming shows including Modern Know How (Limoges, France), Handmade Chelsea, and the Manchester Art Fair.

By bridging street culture with refined materiality, Côme blurs the line between contemporary art and craft. His work challenges conventional distinctions and invites reflection on identity, resilience, and reinvention, offering pieces that are both visually striking and conceptually layered, grounded in emotional weight and personal experience.
