A lifelong love of colour drew me to enamelling while studying for an HND in Design, Silversmithing and Jewellery at Sir John Cass, London. With a background in textiles and natural dyes, I was fascinated by the beauty and luminosity of transparent enamel on precious metals. This has led me on an exciting voyage of creativity and discovery.

After graduating in 2002, I established my jewellery and enamelling workshop in North London. I work to commission as a designer goldsmith and exhibit at selected exhibitions. I write articles on enamelling, arrange workshops and talks, and have researched current enamelling practices in Barcelona and Tbilisi.

I really enjoy the collaborative process of working with my clients, choosing stones and colours to compliment their personality and wardrobe. Customers value being involved in the creative process. Their input gives them a real empathy with the finished piece, it becomes a personal talisman and I hope a treasured family heirloom.
