Jane is a skilled enameller specialising in creating one off pieces of enamelled silverware and jewellery. Using the traditional techniques of champlevé and basse taille, her work is a rich and evocative exploration of colour and imagery.

‘When studying jewellery design at the Central School of Art and Design, I was introduced to the technique of enamelling. I became immediately fascinated by the range and quality of colour, by its subtlety, richness and luminosity.

My explorations into the technique continued whist studying silversmithing at the Royal College of Art and still continue in my professional practice today.’

Currently most of Jane’s work is to commission and is often made to mark a particular event or anniversary.
