I love colour, and enjoy the play of light within transparent enamels. Simple shapes allow emphasis on the qualities of enamels, and the flowing lines of the basse-taille engraving.

Recently I have been making boxes, enjoying the technical challenges and slightly larger scale.

I started working with silver in 1990, with enamels in 1994, and set up my workshop full-time in 2001. I used to build recording studios for young people, but enamelling is much quieter.

Commissions include badges of office for the 8 Ecumenical Prebendaries of Bristol Cathedral, another for the Friends of Bristol Art Gallery, and a presentation medal for Macrorie House Museum, Maritzburg SA.
