Sarah Letts was trained as a painted at Chelsea School of Art. After Chelsea, she studied by jewellery and enamelling at Sir John Cass School of Art.

The painting training has greatly influenced Sarah’s enamelled jewellery. She specialises in brooches, pendants, and necklaces, using the champlevé technique. Sarah finds the process of engraving very expressive: it gives life to the transparency of the colours, which can become very subtle, and enhances the whole piece a painterly quality. Her work is based on memories and ancient forms and is influenced by the colours and moods of the seasons.

Sarah Letts is a Freemason of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths and of the City of London. She has exhibited widely in the UK and abroad.

Her work can be bought at Studio Fusion, OXO Tower London.
