The British Society of Enamellers website is a source of articles, information, and opinions about enamelling that will interest visitors and encourage enamellers to develop and enjoy their work.
In the Information section you will find links to our on-line magazine which contains articles and opinions about enamel pieces that have appeared in recent major exhibitions; including Collect, Schmuk, and British Silver Week. The 'Blog' has archive news about exhibitions, courses, awards, and books that contain details of many enamellers and events that will be active in the future. 'Technical Tips' and 'Enamel Reports' are designed to help enamellers find out more about their materials. Ask any questions or share new information by following the links there. BSOE members will be alerted to new information by email. There are also links to courses, suppliers, societies and galleries on this page. In the Exhibitions section you will find information about the exhibitions that the British Society have held over previous years; this section will be updated with information on future exhibitions when details have been finalised. The Gallery section contains images of the work of many of the BSOE members with links to their web pages and artists statements about their work. The forum is for members only as discussions there relate to BSOE matters specifically. A forum for general discussions will be added in the near future. The aims of the British Society of Enamellers are to promote both the work of its members and enamelling in general. Excellence is a priority and so is developing a sense of community among enamellers. To this end we hope our website will provide inspiration and provoke interest in the work of enamellers everywhere. . |
